Newfoundland Lupins
I went on a trip to Newfoundland with my in-laws two months ago. It was such an enjoyable and fun trip, and there were so many opportunities for wonderful photos.
Newfoundland has such beautiful and varying scenery. One of my favourites to photograph in Newfoundland were the lupins - whether it be the lupins growing wildly by themselves, or having the lupins set against a beautiful coastal backdrop. Newfoundland has an abundance in lupins - kind of like how dandelions are abundant in Calgary, or how palm trees are abundant in Los Angeles. As a "CFA" (as the Newfoundlanders would say - 'come-from-aways'), I have never seen so many lupins growing wildly. They are just so beautiful and I couldn't get enough of photographing them! Here's one that I took and you'll see a couple more in the landscapes and nature photo gallery.
